Mirror Systems
Vertically and horizontally focusing mirror systems, cooled so that very little vibration reaches the mirror optic.
At a glance
- Large mirror systems in horizontal and vertical deflecting geometries, with mirror lengths from 0.6m to 1.4m.
- Differential two moment bender with a closed-loop force bar, with resolution to 0.01%R.
- Water cooling mechanically decoupled from the mirror via liquid gallium grooves in the optic.
- Pitch control to <1µrad with 0.1µrad resolution, from large through-vacuum linear actuators.
- Ultra stiff vacuum tank that forms an integral mounting platform, on a granite base block.
- UHV compatible to <10-9 mbar.
- Optional encoders on all motorised axes.
